The New England Historic Genealogical Society (NEGHS) shows the Marriage
of Elise Lemay to Armenizilde Laurent on July 24, 1888 in Boston.

the record shows:
July 24, 1888, Armenizilde Laurent of Boston, age 25, Barber, born Canada,
son of Etienne and Marguerite, his first marriage
Elise M. Lemay of Boston, age 27, shoe stitcher, born Canada, daughter of
Leopold and Felicite, her first marriage.

This is the only marriage listed of an Elise Lemay. There were no records
at all when I searched for Hamel Alphonse.
