at Law at Cambridge. She died Dec. 17, 1858 at Westfield. Children:

Oliver Livermore who m. June 2, 1758 Katherine Bond, dau. of Jonas Bond,
Esq. of Watertown.
He died June 16, 1782 and she died a widow, June 1, 1800. They settled first
at Watertown and
about 1767 moved to Shirley, Mass. Children:

1. Catherine Livermore b. Aug 25, 1759; died 1781, unmarried.
2. Oliver Livermore b. Sept 1716; died 1782, unmarried.
3. Daniel Livermore b. January 1764; m. 1793, Lucy Longley, dau. of Deacon
John Longley of
Shirley, Mass. She died the next year. He afterwards lived unmarried and
died July 27, 1821.
4. Nathaniel Livermore b. January, 1766; m. 1812, Abigial, dau of William
Jones of Lunenburg,
Mass. He died Jan 20, 1830.
5. Jonas Livermore b. Feb 27, 1768; m. 1796, Polly Kelsey, dau. of Capt.
John Kelsey of Shirley.
Children:
1. Jonas Livermore b. Jan 1, 1797.
2. Oliver Livermore b. June 27, 1798.
3. John Livermore b. June 24, 1800; died Feb 6, 1810.
4. Andrew Livermore b. June 10, 1806.
5. Walter Livermore b. Aug 23, died December, 1810.
In 1814, he with his wife and their three surviving sons moved to Marietta,
Ohio where they had:
6. Mary Livermore.
He died October 1822, and his widow died the next summer and their children
afterwards moved to
Illinois.
6. William Livermore b. June 23, 1770; m. 1799, Betsey Ames, dau. of Amos
Ames of Groton, Mass.
where he settled and now (1846) resides. In the earlier part of life, he
was a carpenter and
builder, but afterwards devoted to agriculture. He repeatedly was a
Representative of Groton in
the State Legislature. Children:
1. Catherine Livermore b. 1800, unmarried.
2. William Livermore b. 1803; m. 1833, Harriet, dau. William Livermore of
Alstead,
New Hampshire. For several years before and after marriage, he was a grocer
at
Boston but is now settled on a farm at Groton, Mass. Children:
1. Elizabeth Livermore b. 1836.
2. Henry Livermore b. 1840.
3. Daniel Livermore b. 1805; m. 1831, Abigail Tuck of Rowley; was a farmer
of
Groton, Mass. Children:
1. William Livermore.
2. Charles Livermore.
3. Rufus Livermore.
4. Albert Livermore.
4. Nathaniel Livermore b. 1807; m. 1832, Elizabeth Lawrence of Cohasset. He
lived
many years in Boston and now resides in Michigan.
5. Betsy Livermore who m. 1835, Charles Prescott of Groton, Mass. Children:
1. Betsey Prescott.
2. Ellen Prescott.

Charles Prescott b. Nov. 21, 1809, son of Abel Prescott & wife, Hannah
Spalding of
Groton, Mass. Charles Prescott m. May 3, 1835, Betsy Livermore of Groton,
Mass.,
dau. of William Livermore, she born Aug 29, 1811. He was a farmer and wood
and
lumber dealer at Groton; had been Selectman, Assessor, etc., and he was a
Major
in the militia. Children:

Charles Prescott and his wife, Betsy Livermore of Groton, Mass. had issue:
1. Charles Livermore Prescott b. Feb 22, 1836; died Oct 2, 1837.
2. Ellen Augusta Prescott b. Aug 18, 1838; m. Dec 27, 1859, Gilman
Barrows, a farmer of Groton. Two children:
1. Helen Barrows b. June 14, 1862.
2. Ulysses Howard Barrows b. May 29, 1865.
3. Betsy Ames Prescott b. Mar 22, 1840; died Mar 24, 1859.
4. Charles Coolidge Prescott b. May 26, 1844. He enlisted as a private,
Sept 16, 1861 in Company B, E. S. Clark, Captain, 26th Reg. Mass. Vol.
Infantry, Edward F. Jones, Colonel. After encamping for a few weeks at
Lowell, the Regiment sailed for Ship Island and from thence with General
Butler to New Orleans and participated in the capture of Forts Jackson &
St. Philip, in April, 1862. The battle of Lafourche, in 1863. They left
Louisiana for Bermuda Hundred, VA., July 11, 1864 and arrived on the 21st.
On the 28th moved to Deep Bottom. Left on the 29th and on the 30th embarked
for Washington thence by various marches to the Shenandoah Valley and other
places in Virginia, and was under General Sheridan in his campaigns in the
valley, battle of Winchester and others. Mr. Prescott was with the Regiment
four years in all the battles and skirmishes in which it was engaged and was
not seriously wounded, but had sundry narrow escapes. At one conflict, while
in Virginia, a discharge of grape tore up the ground, bespattered him with
gravel and dirt, and cut his haversack clear from him, but he escaped without
serious injury. He was mustered out and honorably discharged August 26, 1865.
Since the war he has been engaged in keeping a livery stable in Evansville,
Indiana

dau. of Capt.
John Kelsey of Shirley, Mass. Children:
1. Sally Livermore b. Dec 16, 1800; d. Sept 24, 1843, unmarried.
2. Lucinda Livermore b. Sept 19, 1802; m. June, 1823, Almond Morse, merchant
of
Shirley, Mass., b. Dec 31, 1799, son of Samuel Morse of Lunenburg. She died
Aug.
7, 1832 leaving two daughters:
1. Jane Lucinda Morse b. July 24, 1824.
2. Mary Park Morse b. Aug 11, 1828.
Her husband, Almond Morse died April 14, 1842.
3. Catherine Livermore b. Nov 11, 1806; m. Dec., 1835 Nathaniel Holden, Jr.
son
of Nathaniel Holden, Esq., of Shirley, Mass. Children:
1. Almond Morse Holden b. Feb 19, 1837.
2. Catherine Bond Holden b. May 27, 1839.
3. Granville Holden b. Mar 14, 1841.
4. David Bond Livermore b. Aug 2, 1810; unmarried. He was for several years
a
merchanbt and the Postmaster of Townsend, Mass.
5. Jane Park Livermore b. Dec 2, 1811; m. Aug, 1835, Abel Longley the son of
Abel Longley of Shirley, Mass. and soon after they moved to Montezuma, N.Y.
Children:
1. Margaret Bronson Longley b. June, 1836.
2. Julia Clark Longley bap. April 1839.
6. Charles Livermore b. Mar 24, 1814; unmarried; a manufacturer at
Fitchburg, Mass.
7. Margaret Livermore b. Oct 25, 1819.
8. Lucy Huse Livermore b. Oct 2, 1822.

10. Jonathan Livermore b. Jan. 10, 1781; a carpenter, of Boston; m. 1816,
Susan Platts who
died 1833 and he died January, 1845 leaving children:
