Hello to all,

I am new to the list and hopefully someone out there may be able to help
me trace my ancestors to the New England area of the U.S.

The family that I am trying to trace is the Boyle family of Gaspé,
Quebec, Canada.

The first Boyle to arrive in Gaspé was James who arrived in 1789,
supposedly from the Boston area of Massachusetts.

He came to Gaspé with his wife Mary and children – John, George, Jane,
Mary, and James.

The family may have been United Empire Loyalists but I have found no
records as such.

Perhaps someone has a lead for me.
