I have a copy of Thacher's 1832 "History of the Town of Plymouth." No
Paddocks or Eddys are listed in the index of names. Plymouth town and
Plymouth County are different entities. perhaps your folks are from other
towns (such as Swansea) in Southeast MA that today would fall into Plymouth
County.
