Shows what I know - I thought the plural of census was censae finguring it was a latin word - oh well. I think what is being asked for is the State, not the Federal census. Not sure but I think most of the larger libraries in Massachusetts have copies of these on microfilm. Good luck. Ginny


The federal censuses (this is the plural of census, BTW) are
1860 and
1870, not 1855 and 1865.
