According to the index to the state's copies of vital records, Alice
Maud Poeton was born in 1893 in Peabody. Unfortunately the image of
that record is not online at NEHGS. You can, however, order a copy
from the Peabody City Clerk's office:
http://www.peabody-ma.gov/cityclerk/cityclerk.html
or from the state:

A soundex search of the Massachusetts vital records index does not
reveal a marriage record under either name, so they may have married
before immigrating.
