There was a program on tv that examined the concept of close relatives
marrying. While they did find that over time it did, sometimes, create a
problem, it was not as pervasive as common lore suggests. Even so, I'm not
in favor of close relatives marrying. We are turning into a bunch of idiots
fast enough as it is. Why speed up the process! ;-)
