It interesting to try and place yourself in that position, and like you
Terri I'm glad we don't have to. However, by revisiting those rather savage
times it makes us, or certainly me, think of the great hardship people had
to contend with to survive. Collectively, they were very brave people and
they deserve to be remembered and their stories told, and I guess that's why
we're here engaged in this great interest. Best wishes, James.

I must agree with James -- Giles Corey must've been a very brave man. I
remember from years ago, watching a movie about the "witch trials" and
being very moved by ALL the victims' responses. In those days of such
misguided beliefs, it must've been a very hard decision to make --
whether to "confess" and live but be labled a witch, or to not confess
and die. Sorta made me question myself as to what I would do.
Really glad enlightenment came along!! And also pretty glad I didn't
live in those times.
