I have a hard time understanding why any discussion of religion is stopped.
As genealogists we study history. Religion is a major part of any historical
discussion. Why, when we speak the truth today or a well founded opinion is
it
not allowed. Political correctness certainly by now should be running its
course.
We do not have to be disparaging in a discussion or disrespectful, but
criticism
should not be out of the realm. It is interesting that there was no attempt
to
cut this discussion until we started to bring religion as it affects us
today.
