James ~ I did a little checking around......I did find the marriage at
NEHGS.

**MA VRs to 1850 - Concord

1717 TEMPLE Joseph Temple of Concord and Abigail Sterns of Lexinton was
married by ye Rev'ed John Whiting Nouemr 28 : 1717 **

but I couldn't find her birth listed there. I checked through FamilySearch
too, but *none* of the listings have sources as extracted from vital records.
All are "submitted by an LDS member". The closest I could come was the Feb.
18, 1700 date documented in The History of Lexington.....found at Google
Books....

4. SAMUEL' STEARNS (Isaac,2 Isaac1), born 20 Jan. 1667, killed
by a casualty 19 Dec. 1721.
He was in the precinct at its organization, and was taxed in
1694; subscribed toward the Common 1711; was an assessor 1711, '
13, '17, and tythingman 1718.
He married PHEBE ( ). His widow settled his estate and
afterwards moved to Littleton in 1730, with a number of her children.
Was cautioned at Chelmsford 24 July 1750.
Children, all born at Lexington:
i. SAHAH,« b. 15 Jan. 1697; m. 21 May 1729 WILLIAM WHEELER of Stoughton.
They had two children.
ii. MART, b. 27 June 1698; m. JOHN POWERS of Shutesbury.
iii. ABIGAIL, b. 18 Feb. 1700; m. 28 Nov. 1717 JOSEPH TEMPLE, (?) b. at
Concord 6 May 1688, s. of Abraham and Deborah (Hadlock). They
had four children.
iv. SAMUEL, b. 7 Mar. 1702; d. 1787; resided at Littleton and at Hollis, N.
H.
v. RUTH, b. 25 May 1704; m. 5 Feb. 1723-24 OLIVER LIVERMORE of Water-
town, b. 11 Mar. 1697, d. 18 Nov. 1754, s. of Daniel and Mary (Cool-
edge); d. 8 Feb. 1724-25. They had one child.
vi. PHEBE, b. 23 Feb. 1706; m. ( ) CUMMINOS of Uxbridge.
vii. REBECCA, b. 15 Apr. 1708; m. (intention published at Boston) 24 Apr.
1740 SAMUEL WHITTEMORE.
viii. THOMAS, b. 4 July 1710; m. (1) ABIGAIL REED of Uxbridge, dau. of
Ebenezer; m. thirdly MART HEALD of Chelmsford, who d. 22 Apr.
1809, aged 89; d. 28 Dec. 1784. Resided at Littleton. He had eleven
children.
