Sorry. I meant that it is supposed to be family members (LDS members) who
are submitted their own genealogy for the ordinance to be done.
If some LDS member is a descendant on one of your lines, that may be who
is
doing it.
I have several non member relatives--mostly in law relatives--and I have
promised not to submit their genealogy ever. However, they likely have
other
family members in their genealogy in the same lines.
A huge number of LDS people have early New England relatives--also New
York-
-Rev. War, etc.
I have also told non member friends who have helped me with my own
genealogy
that I would not submit their own work.
As I say, if it is just a sham, and not valid. Don't worry about it.
