Asa & Elizabeth (Prescott) Read, Oct 3, 1843; res. at Lawrence, Mass.,
a dealer in wood & coal. While he res. at Westford, he was Captain
of a rifle company, a Selectman, the Town Clerk and a member of the
School Committee.
