Hi,
I am researching William Waters Minns THOMSON in Australia and
according to his marriage certificate he was born ca 1847 in
Newburyport, America. His father was given as William E THOMSON and
his mother was Janet H. So far the only Newburyport I have found is
in Massachusetts. Would this be the only Newburyport in USA?

Also, would someone be able to tell me where would be the best site
to look for anything on him or his family in USA please. My knowledge
of America is nonexistent so any information will be most appreciated.
