Hi Carol,

In the copy of the document which I received yesterday, at the bottom of one
page there is mention of:

Sarah DITSON (Thomas2, Hugh1) was born .. 1743 at Billerica. She m. Jacob
FRENCH, son of Ebenezer FRENCH and Elizabeth HILL, .. 1763 at Billerica
(Jacob, Jr.) ??

Jacob FRENCH was born .. 1740 Billerica. He died . 1776 Billerica, as h.
Sarah ...

(I don't know what the .. h. .. means.)

I did not receive the rest of the document. (Note: I've been told the
document is now at the Billerica Historical Society. I will try to find
out how I can see it.)

A reminder to others that FRENCH is a big name in Billerica's history;
there are several pages on the name in the Billerica book. I just
checked and there are several Jacob FRENCH's mentioned. Jacob and Sarah
(DITSON) FRENCH had: Jacob, b1763, James, b1765, Sarah, b1768, Peter,
b1770, Benjamin, b1773, Rhoda, b1775.

(Sarah m. Sylvanus BLANCHARD; Peter m. Elizabeth JACQUITH; both popular
names in Billerica; no further info on James, b1765.)

(The FLETCHER name is more popular in Westford; an historic house of the
family still exists.)
