Thanks, Betty, for bringing up the name, CHAMPNEY.

My gr2-grandmother was Lucy Champney (GURNEY) JOSSELYN,
b. April 09, 1832 in Abington, MA., dau. of Deacon Jonathan Reed
Gurney, Sr. and Deborah Reed, wife of Marquis Fayette JOSSELYN-III.

Even though I have traced her roots back to at least the early 1600s, I
cannot locate one CHAMPNEY.

Is there anyone on the list who has my Lucy in their line and/or could help
me?

Thank you in advance of any reply.
