Subject: [GENMASSACHUSETTS] Charlestown--1910 an obituary?
Date: Sat, 13 Oct 2007 08:56:31 -0400 (EDT)

My gg-grandfather was an Irish immigrant and was a long-time employee of
the railroad . He was runover and killed by a train in a blinding
snowstorm in Charlestown Yard 1910.
A researcher found a story pertaining to the accident in the Boston paper,
it was one column by about 5 inches.

He owned 3 houses on Miller St., Charlestown, which are no longer there.

How would I determine if there was an obituary in a Boston newspaper or
possibly due to the circumstances might have appeared in the Boston Pilot?

I'm trying to determine where his homeplace was in Co. Cork.

thanks, Charles
