Here lyes ye body of Mrs. Martha Newhall, wife to
Mr. Benjamin Newhall, Jun'r., who died December 26th,
1759, in ye 31st year of her age. Also Mary Newhall,
Their daughter - died October 2, 1759, in ye 4th year
of her age. Benjamin Newhall, their son, died Nov. 7th,
1759, aged 9 months.

Here lyes buried the body of Mr. Nathaniel Newhall.
Aged 31 years and 10 months, who deceased July ye 29th,
1737.

Here lyes buried ye body of Mrs. Abigail Newhall,
wife
to Mr. John Newhall; who deceased February ye 5th, 1727,
In ye 25th year of her age.

Here lyes ye body of Mrs. Ruth Newhall, wife to Mr.

Jedediah Newhall, who died December ye 22d, 1754. Aged
35 years.

Here lyes ye body of Elinor, wife to Nathaniel
Newhall,
Died ye 12 of February.

Beneath this recording stone are entombed the
remains
of Mrs. Sarah Newhall, wife of Mr. Daniel Newhall, who
Died January 13th, 1798. Aged 60 years.
Follow my steps and we shall meet again;
Shall meet in younder blissful realms above,
Forever there to join the Seraphs' strain,
And sing the wonders of redeeming love.

In Memory of Mr. Daniel Newhall, who died October
4,
1811; Aged 69 years.
"An honest man is the noblest work of God."

Rufus Newhall, died April 24th, 1852, AEt. 77
years.
Sarah, wife of Rufus Newhall, died February 7th, 1856,
AEt. 83 years.

In Memory of Miss Sarah, daughter of Rufus & Sarah
W.
Newhall, who died May 25, 1840, AEt. 42.
Farewell to thee, loved one! No more shall thy voice
With its tones of pure feeling cause our hearts to
rejoice.
Thou are gone to thy home! Thou art passed to thy
rest,
To the bright spirit-land with the pure and the blest.


In Memory of two children of Jonathan M. & Rebecca
P. Newhall. - Sarah Ellen, died April 17, 1842, AEt.
4 days. Henry Otis Newhall, died Nov. 10, 1846, AEt.
13 months.
Yes death! Twice more thy shaft hath flown,
>From thy mysterious bow,
Thou heard'st a mother's tender moan,
Yet laid her dear ones low.

Mary Ella, daughter of Rufus F. & Hellen Newhall,
died January 7, 1854: AEt. 15 months.
This little bud adorned our bower.
And shed sweet fragrance round;
It grew in beauty hour by hour,
Till, ah! The spoiler came in power,
And crushed it to the ground.

In Memory of Mary B., wife of Daniel W. Newhall,
And daughter of Alvan & Susan C. Sampson of
Plymouth.
Died October 4th, 1846, AEt. 25 years & 6 mos.
Thou art gone, dearest Mary! Thy husband
And children are left here to mourn thy
Early demise.
A mother & sister deplore thy loss deeply,
But hope to meet thee in the realms of the
Skies.
