Boston Harbor Islands--
I'm looking at "A Guide to Massachusetts Cemeteries" by David Lambert of
NEHGS.

It appears for some reason, maybe vandalism or not being accessible that
graves have been moved off the Boston Harbor Islands.

Example--Deer Island--no marked graves. I have heard that Long Island,
Boston Harbor, is no longer available.

Governor's Island Cemetery--sometime before 1892 the graves of the
soldiers at Fort Warren were moved this time to Deer Island.

I know I had at least one ancestor buried on Rainsford Island and don't
know where his grave is located now.

It appears that the book "The Islands of Boston Harbor, Their History and
Romance 1626-1935" by Edward Rowe Snow may best answer the question of
"where are these people now"?
