My grandmother who I never knew died of TB in san in 17 May 1925, Tewksbury,
Middlesex, Massachusetts, she hemorrhaged to death in her father’s arms
begging him not to let her die and leave her children. What ever the
reasoning for this latter thought a doctor in Salem hospital decided my
grandfather had a leftover germ form his wife and this was in the late
1960’s. My grandfather had a broken rib not TB but after all was said and
done to him in said hospital by being miss diagnosed all those years later
in essence they killed the man 24 Dec 1970, Salem Hospital Salem MA and his
death record stated and other disease that killed him both items listed were
not the cause of his death untrue or that was one heck of a germ that held
on for over 40 years. True story of a bad doctor and the others involved at
the hospital. One was my grandfather’s favorite sayings, “the cemeteries are
filled with doctor’s mistakes!” seems the joke was on him at the end.
