Joshua Prescott m. Jan 5, 1813, Abigail Eaton, dau. of Capt. Thomas Eaton of
Reading who was a Rev.
War soldier. Joshua Precott grad. at Harvard Coll. 1807. Was a cousellor at
Law at Reading, after having
practiced a few years at Lynn, Mass. He died Jan 4, 1859. Had seven
children. He was the author of the
Probate Digest in Mass. He was a member of the House of Representatives in
1826 and in 1827. (see p.
