Since Thomas Newhall seems to be born in 1632 you have a way to go to get back to him. It is possible you are related. I suggest going to ROOTSWEB.com and entering Thomas Newhall in the first two boxws and search for him.
Search Results: thomas newhall

>From this list scroll to the bottom of the page and enter only Newhall in the top surname blank then go to the right and enter Goodridge in the spouse blank and then search. Do this with all of your various names Dearborn etc. You will find where some Goodridges married Newhalls. remember this isn't foolproff and is limited to what has been entered by others in ROOTSWEB. It should give some clues.
Another appaoach would be to search the Lynn VR's for marriages between the two names. Should be done easily in NEHGS Database to 1850. Can you get back to 1850 in Goodridge line ? How far back have you gone?

If your aunt remebers a Judge Newhall then you may only need to continue backward a few more generations to catch a Newhall marriage.
