I am looking for more information on Minnie McPherson, b. 8/1/1877 (need verification, could be 1867) in Halifax. It is said that at 6 weeks old her mother took her to a childs/home. She is said to have a sister that went to Maine.

I need to know about her parents - Allan & Blanche. Also about John & Miriam (or Mary N) Pyne who adopted or fostered her. The Pyne's had lost 4 kids in a fire. (is there a newspaper clipping about that?)

Miriam & Minnie went to Boston 1880 (or as 1900 census says, 1896). John was gone by 1900 census, and maybe before in Halifax. Minnie ended out marrying the man next door, George A. Lucas (one of two George's in Boston at the time).
