Hi All,
I know I have a heck of a nerve asking for more help, but I've been told that I am like a pitbull when it comes to my genealogical research...plus I'm working on the family tree of a friend and co-worker, so I am definitely passing the genealogical kindness on. Are you buying that? I didn't think so! ANYWAY....
So, we've got Edward Wesley Jenkins being born in 1896 in Somerville, MA., the date hard to read, but the birth was recorded on Jan. 4, 1897. He was s/o Frank A. Jenkins and Mary F. Jacobs... not sure, but I think both parents were born in Ireland?? In 1896/97, the family was living at 45 Aldrich Street in Somerville, MA. I think the 1890 census is lost, if I recall correctly.
In 1900, the family was living in Everett, MA. In 1910, they were living in Malden, MA. In 1920, they were living in Everett, MA. In 1930, Edward Wesley Jenkins was living with his own family in Malden, MA.
Basically, now, I'm trying to get information concerning the parents and family origins of the parents of Edward Wesley Jenkins...Frank A. or W. Jenkins and Mary F. Jacobs...who were possibly both born in Ireland, unless I am mistaken. Frank Jenkins was born in Nov. of 1874. Mary F. Jacobs was born in Mar. of 1878. Mary was deceased some time between the 1910 and 1920 census, while the family was living in Malden, or Everett, MA.
Any information concerning them, their parents, their family origins, immigration, etc. would be very much appreciated.
And not to worry...my next genealogical project will be tied to Mississippi and Louisiana, so you'll all get a much deserved break from this pitbull genealogist. Thanks again everybody!
Jean
