Hi Jean,

I started looking for Ann Harrison birth records b/w 1897 and 1904. The closest I found was the following...
1900 Harrison Annie Elizabeth Birth Boston 499 352 Image Not Available

I then went an looked at the 1910 Census, and did find the Benjamin Harrison family in Cambridge.

1910 United States Federal Census
Address 5: Gerry St
Name: Benjamin Harrison
Age in 1910: 35
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1875
Birthplace: New York
Relation to Head of House: Head
Father's Birth Place: New York
Mother's Birth Place: New York
Spouse's Name: Annie E
Home in 1910: Cambridge Ward 9, Middlesex, Massachusetts
Marital Status: Married
Race: White
Gender: Male
Neighbors: View others on page
Household Members: Name Age
Benjamin Harrison 35
Annie E Harrison 32
Katharine A Harrison 13
Edward F Harrison 12
Benjamin Harrison 10
Annie E Harrison 9
John J Harrison 6
Mary A Harrison 5
Susan M Harrison 1/12

(I found a birth record for Benjamin Harrison on July 9, 1899, born at 58 Baxter in Boston; parents Benjamin Harrison and Annie E Courtney; father a printer born in NYC; mother born in Boston)

I then backed from there to look for the marriage of Annie and Benjamin.

Oct 27, 1895 Marriage in Boston - Benjamin Harrison residing in Boston, age 22, occupation printer, born in New York City, NY, parents Steven and Susie - m - Annie E Courtney, residing in Boston, age 18, occupation At Home, parents Bryan and Kate.

The only Ann Courtney I could find born in Boston between 1874 and 1880 was Margaret Ann, born Oct 20, 1875 at 642 E Fourth (which I presume to be South Boston), parents Bryan (with the "y" crossed out and replaced with an "i"), and Catharine. Father a Stone Cutter. Both parents born in Ireland.

There was a Bryan Courtney born June 6, 1874 to Bryan and Catharine (same address). He died Dec 4, 1876 of Scarlet Fever and Pneumonia. (Death register spells Bryan as Brian)

No luck finding the Courtney's in 1880. When I looked for Bryan in 1900 I found a Bryan living with his son Michael and family. Michael was married in 1894, age 23, and the marriage record indicates that he was born in Albany NY. His occupation is Granite Cutter. I could not find Michael in the 1880 Census either.

John
