Hi to the MA list

I am led to believe that my grandfather Alexander McCall was made a
Freemason whilst he resided in Boston MA, He arrived in Boston in April 1912
aged 18 years old and left before 1920, If I can suppose that he was not
allowed to join until he was 21 in 1915 the window for his initiation would
be 1915 - 1920.

My question is how many Freemason's Lodges were there in Boston at that time
? how many of those are still in existence ? and how can I find out if my
Grandfather was indeed initiated into one of those lodges.

I am an English Mason and would love to find out this information.
