Ardath,
I cannot answer your question, but I wanted to make sure that you had the
following VR's...
>From the NEHGS site:
Lydia daughter of John and Lydia Simpson, Born 7 February 1722.
>From the Pre-1850 Charlestown VR book (Tan books):
Births:
Lydia Stimson, daughter of Andrew & Abigail Stimson, born August 13, 1697
Lydia Stimson, daughter of Andrew & Abigail Stimson, born October 14, 1703
Marriage:
Lydia Stimpson & Robert Calley, both of Charlestown, by Rev. Mr. Simon
Bradstreet,
April 30, 1724
Death:
Lydia Stimson, daughter of Andrew & Abigail Stimson, died April 12, 1703
Those were all the Lydia Stimpson VR's that I could find in your time
period. Good luck. Please let us know if you solve this problem. I also invite
you to join and post on the Stimpson mailing list just in case there is
someone there who can help you.
Thanks,
Scott Stimpson

Am trying to find the family of Lydia Stimpson/Simpson who married John
Barber in 1736, Boston.
Their daughter, Mary (Polly) Barber married Johnathan Bullard in 1761
Worcester.
Some researchers show that Lydia is the daughter of John Stimpson and Lydia
Dyer -- but some researchers show that their daughter Lydia married an
Abraham
Rogers -- and I haven't found a divorce or remarriage for her.
If anyone can give me any clues as to Lydia's proper parentage -- I would
be
most appreciative.
Thanks so very much.
