Somerville man hurt in crash
LEOMINSTER-A somerville man was injured when the automobile he was driving went out of control, struck a utility pole and a span near 124 Water st. shortly before midnight Monday, police reported.

Peter Rivers, 57, of 15 Wesley st, Somerville, was taken to Leominster hospital in the municipal ambulance, treated for lacerations of the lower lip and later discharged.

Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $400 by patrolman John Palo, Jr, investigating officer.
