Good Morning: Looking for info on the above, some folks kept the Cook others added the "e" Cooke; who came from Port Mouton, Queens County, Nova Scotia to the U.S.A. to live in Mass.area. They were fisherman.
Some surnames were: Thomas Cook Jr.; Reubin Harlow; Peter and Daniel Post, total of 23 & families in one boat, the year 1805. Any "Cook" relatives from Thomas Cook Jr. living in Mass. Trying to get my "Cook" family sorted out. My mother was a "Cook" born on Port Mouton Island--1888, daughter of Walter & Ella (Hatt) Cook.
Thank you, Jacquie Homans Duncan
Nova Scotia
