It is common in the Bridgewater area. The Keiths there are the
descendants of Rev. James Keith (ca. 1643 - 1719), who was ordained
as Bridgewater's first minister in 1664, and his first wife, Susanna
Edson (ca. 1640 - 1705). The tomb they share is still extant in West
Bridgewater, on a hill across the Town Creek from their home, which
also still exists. The Keiths are, incidentally, one of very few
early Bridgewater families whom I cannot currently count as ancestral.
