You might want to probe some more as it was common to use a 'vault' in
mid-winter for a temporary interment, pending mild weather and the ability to
dig a grave. And not all cemeteries have vaults, so a vault at a different
cemetery might have been used until Spring.

Hi, I corrected the name of Clarksburg to a town in Berkshire Co MA in a
later posting. I did a Google search on it. There is a map of the towns on
the USGenweb Berkshire Co MA site. Clarksburg is the most northern village
of the county and abuts onto North Adams.
We have a supposed death year for James Priest as 1928. On Elizabeth
Priest's death cert it states she was a widow. She died 5 Feb 1941 at 767 S.
Church St, North Adams, Berkshire Co MA. She resided at Red Mills,
Clarksburg, Berkshire Co MA. It states she was buried in a Vault but no cemetery
name.
