Subject: [GENMASSACHUSETTS] Nova Scotia Tree has Arrived in Boston
Date: Tue, 17 Nov 2009 05:42:07 -0500
Hello,
It was on the news this morning that today is the day that the "donated
Christmas Tree" arrived from Nova Scotia. It's been mentioned on the
Lists, so many people know what happened in 1917.

I don't think I've been in Downtown Boston in ~5 years, so I think maybe
this year I will try to get there. I haven't enjoyed "Christmas in
Boston" in more years than that. (I also want to drive down to Avon
and see "the Enchanted Village.") (How many remember when the Boston
Common was full of "Christmas displays?")

(2 yrs. ago I wrote a little song (?) about "the Halifax Tree." My
husband is the only one who has seen it. Has anyone else written a poem
about "Christmas in Downtown Boston?")
