Hi,

Here's the little I have about my grandmother's family.
We had her parents' names (really helped to have her mother named!). Obviously she was here, and we know her father was too.

All paperwork on her says WHALEN (marriage, births, deaths); early documents said b Cambridge vs Ireland; per documents, she was
born 1873, 1875, 1878, 1879, 1880; per censuses, immigrated 1885, 1887, 1890, 1895 [year she married].

I was able to have some research done in Waterford. Also went there, to a civil registration office, but found no obvious deaths of
anyone in the immediate family up to 1890.

Have searched ship indexes, but can't spot the family, certainly not as a unit that traveled together.

1905, Cambridge: A group baptism (my father's 4 older siblings). The sponsors named were:
Anna WHALEN, Catherine E. WHALEN, Jane T. PITTS

Could Anna be Anastasia? No ideas for Jane PITTS (checked censuses).

Exploring Catherine/s (not concerned she said b Mass as my grandmother said the same thing. A clue ? :)
