Uh...yeah I'm just figuring out the "due diligence" part. I'm a really green newbie to this. When I find a tree and the years line up I get all excited. But I have found records for some of the things I've been sent.
Not sure what you mean by a database. I have a genealogy program which is driving me crazy because the manual is online and very basic. MacFamilyTree.
Could I create my database on that?
Oh the image didn't load for the Hows.
