I have join the NEHGS but haven't had any luck figuring out how to find
anything there on-line and I live to far away to stop in <grin>. I know
some of you are very familiar with the service. I have Ancestry.com and
hove found a few records. I'm trying to locate more info on my
great-grandmother: Elizabeth (Lizzie) P McCarthy, b. 3 Nov 1865 County Cork
Ireland, d. 23 Jul 1951 Boston. Also her parents Charles and Catherine
(Ahern) McCarthy and any siblings. One know sister is Mary b. 1862,
[other possible are: (Hugh, John, don't think came to US) Ellen 1860,
Cornelius 1861, & Nora 1863].

This is some of what I know... Charles and Catherine, Elizabeth, Mary and
Ellen immigrated from Ireland around 1880-1884. Nora may have come later
with a spouse Charles Kelleher/Kellerher. Mary m. Owen Kelley 12 Jan 1886
in Boston, they raised my grandmother, Mary (Aka Lillian) b. May 1887 in
Boston as their child.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...
