It appears his first wife, Elizabeth, died before Feb 1906. Widower Edward wed Ethel Tetlow in Massachusetts in 1906. The 1905 birth record for Elsie was listed as "amended," and was not viewable, so I couldn't check to see who was listed as her mother (Elizabeth or Edith??). I couldn't find a birth record for Edena, but her mother would be Ethel. Curiously, in the 1901 England census for Edward Norris, Jane Tetlow, housekeeper, and her daughter Ethel, age 14, are living in the same household as Edward. In 1910, Edward, Edith, and Elsie are living in Mass. In 1920, Elsie and Edena are living with Ethel's mother, Jane Tetlow. I cannot find Edward nor Edith in 1920 or 1930--had they died by then? I can't find George anywhere. Do you know the name of his wife? When was his daughter Ethel born? It appears Ellsie Norris wed Thomas Brillon. In 1930, they have 2 sons, both of whom appear to still be living (they may have had other children after 1930, but that's as high as the censuses go for now). 1881 England Census Name:Samuel Norris
