It was very informative. Like you I would never have connected Bridget to Delia.
Since I posted my request I have managed to find the only letter my mother ever received from the Keane family.The letter dated 1942 from Katherine who was staying with Agnes and Owen while on vacation. Norah was also there.
She told my mum that Patrick had 6 children and his wife die about 1940.
Lizzie had 3 Girls and 2 boys
Mary 2 girls and 2 boys. Unfortunatly she does not mention her sisters married names or where they were living apart from Ireland,
>From the letter it appears that Katherine may have worked as a ladies maid/companion.She mentions that in 1924 she was staying at the Savoy Hotel in London and asked Tom and Julia to visit her but because Tom was ill he was unable to travel.You had to be very wealthy to stay at the Savoy so it's unlikely Katherine was staying as a guest in her own right but with her employer.
