Hello,

My step-son needs to obtain a marriage certificate for his grandparents. Unfortunately, he knows very little about them, even though he knew them until he was a teen. I can only guess that they married in Somerville or Cambridge, but they could have married in Boston, or anywhere in MA. It would have taken place ~1935, and I wondered if anyone could do a look-up for me. If I can find out which city they married in, I will drive to that City Hall and request the certificate:

Gabriel SANTOS, born 1900-1915 Madeira Island (Portugal)

Isabelle or Bella SOUZA, born 1900-1920 Madeira Island (Portugal)
(or possibly Azores Islands (Portugal)

They lived their married life in Cambridge, then Somerville.

(Gabriel reportedly arrived in MA as a 20-yr-old, and "Bella" reportedly arrived in MA as a baby with her parents. But, there were several SOUZA or SOUSA families living near Boston in the 1920 census, and I don't know Bella's parents' names. And I can't look up the 1930 census from home.)

P.S. This couple had relatives in Lowell, and I think their family name was QUINTAL. I can't remember whether they were SANTOS or SOUZA relatives.
