After doing a little searching on Elias G. Dunn, and wife Mary, they cannot be who I'm looking for. They were on the 1830 [Elias G. Dunn Jr], 1840, 1850 [Elias & Charity] & 1860 [Elias G. & Charity] Oxford Co., ME; and there was an Elias G. and Charity Dunn on 1870 Androscoggin Co., ME, censuses.
However, someone told me that Eliphalet's parents were Eliphalet & Ella Dunn. Haven't been able to contact & haven't found anything to verify. Wish that a reference would have come with that.
So, if that be the case, on the 1820 [one male age 26 thru 44] & 1830 [2 males under 5, 1 male 5 thru 9, 1 male 10 thru 14, 1 male 30 thru 39, & 1 male 60 thru 69]Cumberland Co., ME, censuses was an Eliphalet Dunn
According to the Am Genealogical-Biographical Index [AGBI], Vol. 47, p. 24: Eliphalet Dunn b. 1750 ME. I doubt if this would have been Eliphalet Phineas' father because he would have been almost 80 when E.P. was born.
