HI:
Try ROOTSWEB.com for the family of Benjamin Page Wells. He seems to be the first immigrant to Steuben County. One chart shows several brothers of Orcemus (sp), the youngest being Alva Wells b. abt. 1804. The others too young to be father of your Worden. NY State not easy to search. Look for Wills and deeds. wills can be purchased from SAMPUBCO and vary in quality of the copy. Also NEHGS site has index of Wills and Guardianships in NY. I'll check for Wells in Steuben County.
