I think this Gen. Benj Wells is my WY's grandfather but no proof. I have been told that there were 2 Benj Wells to WY's family his father and grandfather were both Benjamins. This fits with the Rootsweb info under the WY(1830)and Orsemus and Mitty his parents, but again no WY (1824) is there. Orsemus and all his siblings except Linus were born in Onondaga Co. I just so hard feel this is his family but there's no proof. I think the lineage may be in DAR records and will go up to DC and snoop this summer. My Worden moved to Iowa in 1851 in a covered wagon pulled by Oxen with other family members (Orsavilla's parents and 2 brothers)plus there 3 children and probably 1 on the way. WY and Orsavilla had 14 children and 74 grandchildren.
Thank-you again!! Anything more you care to share or speculate on I would be so grateful to have.
