I checked my immigration cd and found 3 Nutter's in America.
2 Richard and age 47 and William age28 both landed in Ontario. (which is No. America)

And Jacob age 14 landing in NY
And Frederick in 1869 landed in Allegheny Co., Pa.

That is what a lot of them do and then go on down to Massachusetts.

Have you checked the 1870 Census for Boston?? There are some Nutter's listed there. All I have is the old index cd and it doesn't say anything except the names.
