Hi Sara,

I would love to discuss the Lincoln and Witherell line with you. My email is . This is just so fascinating!

Our Lincoln connection is through Solomon Witherell, who married Sarah Lincoln.
Our Ivers is Ivers Lincoln Witherell who was born 1821 and died in 1906. He is my husband's 3rd great-grandfather. Marion Witherell, my husbands' grandmother also had a brother named Ivers Lincoln Witherell.
Our family history through Ivers Lincoln Witherell show his father as Alanson Witherell, his father was Solomon Witherell and his father was Seth Witherell. Solomon was a Revolutionary war patriot and his info is on file with the DAR!
Are these the same family lines your research shows?
I would love to discuss this further with you. I am trying to find the Witherell Mayflower connection. It is through marriage and was going to work on the Lincoln line next. Was hoping to prove Abraham Lincoln ancestory, but if you have researched and found that Thomas "the Cooper" is the Lincoln ancestor, well, we know that would mean no Abraham connection, but the Benjamin Lincoln connection. Is that what you have found?
