I have been researching my great grandparents, John & Laura Campbell. The family stories have been that Laura (McLaughlin) was in an orphanage at some point in her life. She was born in Lynn, Mass, 9/3/1892. I found a marriage record for John in 1911 but it says his brides name is Nellie McLaughlin and that she was 44 years old. I also found a birth record for a baby girl McLaughlin born in 1892 but the day and year are different. Could they have made a mistake with that info? Any advice/guidance anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.
