Hi again,

Out of curiousity I looked on-line to find out where Capelas was. If I'm reading an on-line map of the island of Sao Miguel correctly, the City of Capelas is on the northern shore of the island and the City of Ponta Delgada is on the southern shore of the island.

I don't know how people on that island travel back and forth between Ponta Delgada and Capelas. So, I also don't know whether PACHECO families in both cities were directly related.
