NEW BRAINTREE - Winifred P. (Fuller) Holbrook, 80, of 456 Unitas Road died yesterday in UMass-Memorial Hospital, Worcester, after an illness.
Her husband, Joseph E. Holbrook, died in 1982. She leaves four sons, Bruce Parker of New Braintree, Calvin Holbrook of Woodruff, S.C., George E. and James Holbrook, both of Bondsville; four daughters, Cynthia Clore of Palmer, Patricia Golden of Alamogordo, N.M., Barbara Minney of Ware and Sybil George of New Braintree; a brother, Gordon Fuller of Worcester; a sister, Virginia Smith of Orleans; 56 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. A daughter, Donna Skinner of Meddybemps, Maine, died in 1992. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Willis F. and Jennifer E. (Allen) Fuller, and lived here 53 years. She graduated from Burncoat High School in Worcester.
Mrs. Holbrook was a member of New Braintree Congregational Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in New Braintree Congregational Church, Oakham Road. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Pillsbury Funeral Home, 96 South Barre Road, Barre. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Playground Fund, care of the New Braintree School Department, Memorial Drive, New Braintree, MA 01031.
