I wonder if anyone can tell me, (1) is a copy of an index card neccesary to obtain inf from NARA, (2) How would one go about (and where) getting that inf.?
I have family that came from Ireland(Co Donegal and Co Cork between 1883 and aprox 1897, what kind of inf could I expect to find?
I also have my dads family from Kivijarvi Finland that arrived in MA around 1893-1900 (dad was born in Quincy MA) His parents in Kivijarvi Finland.
My mothers family were Bradley/O'Donnell/Doherty mostly and my dads were Nelson/Piispanen/Kinnunen
not that that makes a difference.
I don't drive and have a hard time getting around, with know one that can help in driving me I'm hoping there are other options than going in person.
