Elbert Clyde Jayne was my mother's uncle. His parents were Elbert Franklin Jayne and Sophia Jane Kidd Jayne. Elbert's family lived in Scott County, VA. Sophia was from Owsley County, KY; but some of the Kidd's were in Scott County. Elbert was married three times, according to my information, and had children by each union.
