I found on the Kentucky Marriage License Index a Narcissus CANER married to a Thomas MILLER April 11, 1856 in Jefferson County. Is it possible you are looking for the wrong couple?

I have never really seen a Narcissus Jean or Jeans. Wish I could help you.
