I am an English Jeffries and I have traced the Jeffries line back to 1798 to a town on the Welsh border called Llanymynach in Shropshire in England. There is no further trace of any siblings or parents and I was wondering if they emigrated? Where would I be able to look this up? Or do you know if your ancestors are from this part of the UK at around this time?
