I came across your posting while searching the rootsweb archives.

I have a LAIDMAN marrying into the WILKINSON part of my family tree. In the 1901 census Robert WILKINSON age 64 is living at 27 Rede Street, All Saints, Newcastle on Tyne with his wife Elizabeth age 61, son Tom age 19, son-in-law Robert LAIDMAN age 24 (Upholsterers Assist, born Newcastle on Tyne), daughter Barbara LAIDMAN age 23 and Gd Child Robert W. LAIDMAN age 9 mo.

I think this is their marriage on FreeBMD but the female is not there yet to confirm this
